Property management company looking to grow its maintenance staff. We currently manage over 200 units and need an efficient maintenance tech to complete work orders which range from everyday small fixes to section 8 violation lists, exterior lead paint violations, and complete apartment remodels. The ideal candidate must have their own tools and transportation.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.
Handle all work assignments in a timely, professional manner.
Refurbish vacancies including painting, cleaning, and general maintenance repairs.
Be familiar with Section 8 repairs and ensure that all fire and building codes are adhered to; will notify supervisor immediately of any potential safety or building code violations.
Perform general repairs to buildings including, but not limited to:
o Interior/ exterior painting
o Repair or adjust entry doors
o Replace light bulbs/fixtures
o Patch/paint drywall
o Repair or change locks
o Light plumbing of sinks/ drains
o Light electrical of lights/outlets
o Flooring
