Employment Type:Full timeShift:Day ShiftDescription:RN-Manager - 6T - Medsurg unit at Samaritan Hospital- FulltimeThe Nurse Manager is responsible for the daily operations and throughput of surgery patients. The role would encompass:

Leadership accountabilities of interviewing, hiring, performance evaluations and performance management.

Managing staffing schedules to ensure adequate staffing level.

Ensuring staff compliance with hospital policies, procedures, protocols and guidelines,

Monitoring and nursing accountability of outcomes.

Work collaboratively with physicians on resolving issues and participate in committee meetings

Policy review and revisions.

Adherence to budget guidelines and compliance

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree required

Five plus years of experience in Medical Surgical

Critical care experience preferred

Previous lead or supervisory experience
