This individual will work as a member of our leadership team, coordinating closely with other nursing, rehab and SW supervisors, as well as with other department supervisors for support functions. The RN Supervisor role coordinates with scheduling and the nursing team to meet patient needs.Eddy VNRA is a non-profit home health agency with over 100 years’ experience meeting the needs of patients and families in the community. Eddy VNRA is the largest home health agency in the greater Capital Region, and offers a wide range of innovative, specialty programs such as telehomecare, WOCNs, CDE, home based palliative care and more!Supervisors at Eddy VNRA are supported with Team Secretaries and a wide range of support functions from intake to scheduling, to a team obtaining prior authorizations, and much more!The work schedule is Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm. The Supervisor is responsible for daily operations of a team of home health RN care managers who are each managing a caseload of patients. The Supervisor participates in hiring and mentoring RNs for growth, responds to calls from physicians/ patients/families, manages a wide range of reports and processes, and coordinates with other teams/departments.Requirements:

Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing approved by the Education Department of NYS with either a bachelor’s degree of Science in nursing or a health or human services field or two years of home care experience OR an Associate’s degree of Science with four years of home care experience plus equivalent of 6 credit hours in Public Health and Management.

Experience: Must have at least two years of previous experience as a community health nurse in a home care setting.

Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
