Regeneron is seeking a Process Development Engineer I to work in the Bioreactor Scale-Up and Development group within our Pre-Clinical Manufacturing and Process Development (PMPD) organization. In this role, you will be primarily involved in developing commercially-enabling bioreactor processes intended for use in cGMP manufacturing.A Typical Day in the Role of Process Development Engineer I Might Look Like:
Design, execute and lead multiple manufacturing and laboratory process development design projects.
Analyze and interpret results and designs experiments based upon previous results and controls.
Contribute to project advancement by developing new methods or technologies, and troubleshooting.
Suggest modifications to protocols or alternative protocols. Routinely works on multiple projects simultaneously.
Keep up with the latest scientific and engineering developments by reading the current literature and attending conferences. Expected to apply literature findings or synthesize external information to development of new processes.
Construct and analyze impact of equipment and finance metrics where applicable. Active role in forecasting of departmental resources where applicable.
Deploy PAT technologies in the group for the advancement of our process understanding and capabilities
