Mechanic wanted (heavy duty)

Mechanic Position needed: Local company looking for a heavy duty mechanic to perform maintenance and repair on tractor trailer, dump trucks, heavy equipment, tractors, and light duty vehicles. Responsibilities: Maintain, repair, assemble and overhaul farm machinery, equipment and vehicles, such as tractors, combines, tilling equipment, trucks, tractor trailers, and other equipment. Preventative maintenance inspections on equipment. Understand basic maintenance, diagnosis, and repair. Recognize and identify, non-diesel related repairs or maintenance items (trailer, tires, etc). Maintain a clean and safe work area compliant with company regulation and policy. Qualifications: Experience in auto/semi/equipment service, repair and maintenance required General mechanical knowledge Ability to stand and/or move constantly during a shift Ability to lift 50lbs without assistance Valid drivers license CDL a plus but not required Must possess the skills required to accomplish the essential job duties.
