Equipment Repair Technician

Are you handy?Like to fix stuff?Looking for a company you can grow with?Sanico is a growing family-owned wholesale distributor of janitorial supplies and equipment across Upstate NY.We are looking for a handy professional to join our growing Syracuse team.This position will focus in three areas:Diagnose and fix electrical & battery-powered floor equipment (autoscrubbers, vacuums, etc) at the branch's in-house shop. Equipment will be transported from customer locations to the branch shop where it will be fixed. Go to customer sitesto diagnose and fix commercial dish machines and laundry systems. (company van provided)Participate in installations of paper towel dispensers and chemical dispensing systems on an as-needed basis.Viable applicants will have demonstrated technical experience and competence with small engine repair, machine maintenance, plumbing, electrical, etc. Upon hire, the incumbent will shadow current Equipment Repair Techs to gain better understanding of the types of equipment we sell and fix.Job Type:Full-Time (M-Fr 800a-430p)Location:Sanico-Syracuse Branch (327 Wavel St)with considerable time to be spent out in field diagnosing equipmentWage Range:$19-$22/hr Apply now in 2 minutes!
