Reliable transportation is a must, as job sites may vary throughout Central New York.
This seasonal full-time position offers regular work hours from Monday to Friday, typically from 7 am to 3:30 pm. However, weekend work may be required occasionally due to project timelines and urgent needs.
Some key responsibilities of the role include:
-Demolishing interior structures such as walls, floors, and ceilings
-Removing debris and waste from demolition sites
-Preparing demolition sites by removing furniture and fixtures
-Cleaning up construction sites after demolition and renovation projects
-Sorting and recycling materials for proper disposal
-Operating machinery and equipment for demolition and cleanup purposes
-Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and OSHA standards
-Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
-Working as part of a team to complete demolition and clean-up projects efficiently
-Following instructions and directions from supervisors and project managers

Competitive compensation begins at $17.00 per hour, with potential for higher pay based on industry experience. To be eligible for prevailing wage work, candidates must possess OSHA 10 certification or be willing to obtain it.
