Position Summary: As a member of the Haun Leadership Team, the Human Resources Manager will lead the company in four strategic pillars including, Effective Talent Management, Explicit Culture, Learning and Development, and Benefits Administration; all the while forging and maintaining a customer-service mindset and environment for employee engagement.

Position Responsibilities:

SUPERVISORY:

Recruits, interviews, hires and trains new staff in the department.

Oversees the daily workflow of the department.

Oversees the day-to-day performance of HR employee(s); identifying opportunities for training and developing necessary skills for success and advancement.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organizations human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.

Provides support and guidance to managers when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.

Manages the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, particularly for managerial, exempt, and professional roles; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.

Oversees administration of benefits including, executing open enrollment for approved insurance plans, serving as primary contact for plan vendors and third-party administrators, documenting and maintaining administrative procedures for assigned benefits processes, ensuring compliance with applicable government regulations, reviewing and signing off on insurance billing, providing customer service support to employees, developing tools to enhance understanding of the company’s benefits package, preparing, collecting and organizing data for 401k audits, and analyzing trends in benefits.

Facilitates New Hire Orientation several times throughout the year to include introduction to the Leadership Team, an overview of the company’s missions, values and key policies, tour of corporate headquarters, coordinating industry specific training, safety training and facilitating review of company benefits.

Creates learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.

Implements and maintains best practices for employee development, internal trainings, and professional growth programs.

Coordinates internal and external training for employees.

Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations and investigations.

Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.

Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

An Associates or a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.

A minimum of three years of human resource management experience.

SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desired

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, Weekends Off, Home Every Night, All Major Paid Holidays Off.
