I am wheelchair dependent and looking for an extremely reliable caregiver/DSP to assist me with the physical aspects of navigating through my daily life, in Baldwinsville. Agency Compensation up to $19/hr.
Available Shifts:
MONDAY - FRIDAY 8 AM - 3 PM (for +/- 6 months);
NOTE: agency employment can provide new, permanent client(s) at end of this position
Responsibilities include:
assistance with personal care
driving wheelchair van
light housekeeping
meal preparation
mentoring in community
Requirements:
some experience with caring for someone with physical impairment OR you have a certification or degree in nursing, Homecare or Nursing Aide
valid driver’s license
ability to lift 50lbs (standard agency formality), though lifting equipment is on hand for daily use
A resume and references are necessary
Tolerance of pets and grass/hay is appreciated due to a rabbit being in the home.
