We are a busy 4-doctor dental practice in a great area looking to hire an experienced registered dental hygienist. Our practice provides quality care in general dentistry including restorative, endodontic and oral surgery procedures as well as Invisalign, sleep dentistry, digital scan dentistry and more. As a part of this modern, patient-oriented practice, an enthusiastic, well-organized individual will work independently and as a part of a team to perform the following:
Prepare treatment room for patient by following prescribed procedures and protocols
Patient screening procedures such as; assessment of oral health conditions, review of health history, oral cancer screening, head and neck inspection, dental charting and taking blood pressure and pulse
Administers prophylactic treatment by scaling and polishing teeth
Apply preventative materials to the teeth (e.g., sealants and fluorides)
Take digital radiographs
Instruct patients in oral hygiene technique, answer patient questions and provide educational information relevant to oral hygiene
Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
Requirements:
5-7 years of experience as a registered dental hygienist
Quality work ethic and exceptional standard of patient care
Knowledge of dental software
Ability to communicate effectively in a professional and courteous manner
Attention to detail, work quickly and efficiently and be able to multitask
