Food Truck Assistant Chef/Part Time

FOOD TRUCK ASSISTANT CHEF/PART TIME

We have an immediate need for a self-motivated part time Food Truck Assistant Chef to

join our team at our recently opened permanently parked Food Truck located in Syracuse,

NY. Our immediate success has made it necessary to add staffing to assist with the

culinary operations of our food truck, ensuring the highest quality of food and exceptional

customer service.

Responsibilities include:

Assist with day-to-day operations of the food truck, including food preparation,

cooking, and serving.

Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area, adhering to health and safety

regulations.

Provide excellent customer service, engaging with customers and addressing any

concerns or inquiries.

Ability to adapt to unique and diverse menu items

Requirements:

At least two years' experience as a restaurant line cook in a fast-paced

environment; food truck experience is a huge plus!

Willingness to learn and take on challenges.

Commitment to top-level customer service

Ability to self-motivate and work with limited direction.

Knowledge of allergen management and safe cooking technique.

Ability to run a POS system.

Other Requirements

Must have reliable transportation/access to a vehicle.

Schedule will be primarily evenings and weekends however additional hours may

be available.

Initially 15-20 hours per week.

Compensation

Starts at $16.50/hr, or more depending on experience.
