Senior Corporate Tax Accountant

Description This role is NOT with a public accounting firm. This is a very high growth corporate tax position and the organization has awesome benefits and this is a hybrid position.Chris Preble is working with a Syracuse client of his that is expanding their corporate tax team. You'll not be in the weeds just pushing out tax returns all day, this is a strategic position. You'll be involved in acquisitions, tax research, expansion analysis and much more. It's a role they're developing you for the next step in your career. Responsibilities besides those described above will include Review of federal, state, and local income tax returns. Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and optimize tax positions. Conduct research on complex tax issues and provide guidance on tax matters to senior management. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of current tax laws, regulations, and best practices. Help coordinate and manage tax audits and inquiries from regulatory authorities. Collaborate with external public accounting firm, external public accounting firm tax department when required. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement effective solutions.
