Eaton’s ES GEIS CHD division is currently seeking a Foundry Core Maker. The core hours are 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. The hourly rate for this position is 20.87 per hour.Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.What you’ll do:
Plan and perform all required duties to setup core making machines and produce a variety of shell, isocure, and pepset cores for use in the foundries.
Perform minor repair, adjustments, lubrications, and settings of machines to insure proper operation of the machines to produce quality parts.
Add vents to urethane core boxes to replace existing vents by drilling holes on flat surfaces as needed.
Fill sand hoppers for machine production and perform core box assembly with the proscribed tools.
Clean and position cores in pan and move cores to designated areas placing them on pallets.
Detect and report all defective materials and unusual conditions to proper supervision.
Maintain work area in a clean and orderly condition.
Qualifications:Required (Basic) Qualifications:
Minimum one (1) years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Minimum six (6) months of fork truck experience.
Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future.
No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate geographic area (50 miles) of Syracuse, NY will be considered for this position.
