Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Initiatives

The Barnes Center at The Arch is Syracuse University's integrated health and wellness center which incorporates counseling, health, health promotion and recreation. The Director is a newly elevated position and is a core member of the Health and Wellness leadership team, reporting directly to the Associate Vice President for Health and Wellness.The Director for DEIA Initiatives develops, leads, and implements diversity and inclusion efforts across the health and wellness team. Specific responsibilities include development and implementation of staff training opportunities, development and implementation of initiatives designed to promote greater access to services for underrepresented populations, leadership of internal quality improvement programs, leadership of the health and wellness diversity and inclusion committee, and collaboration with offices and organizations across the university dedicated to the advancement of diversity and inclusion initiatives.
