About the role: As a Solutions Consultant, Software Sales Engineer at Softheon, you will play a critical role in driving sales for our healthcare software solutions. You will serve as a technical expert, helping our sales prospects and internal teams understand the unique needs of healthcare clients and tailoring our offerings to meet those needs. In this pivotal role, you will successfully set expectations for business requirements documents (BRDs), project planning, and implementation. The ideal candidate will have a depth of knowledge related to operational workflows around the ACA, Medicare Advantage, and health plan operational structures. RequirementsYou will:

Collaborate with Softheon sales and support teams to understand customer requirements and provide specialized sales support, including providing responses to RFPs, RFIs, etc.

Stay updated on regulatory changes, compliance requirements, and industry trends.

Maintain the demo environment in collaboration with the Solutions Consultant, Testing and Release Specialist, ensuring it is running the most up-to-date version of each product.

Prepare and conduct product demonstrations of Softheon's healthcare software solutions and technical workflows.

Develop technical sales collateral collaborating with Marketing, including white papers and product comparisons, focused on Softheon's healthcare offerings.

Build feedback loops into the pre-sales process, ensuring sales reps and prospective clients can express any feedback that improves our solutions, bringing those insights to Softheon product development teams.

You have:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field required.

Minimum of 1-5 years of experience in a pre-sales, client-facing, technical or healthcare (within the exchange or payer space) role required.

3 years of experience in technical sales, specifically in healthcare software, preferred.

Profound understanding of healthcare insurance workflows, user experience, RPA, and back-end operations.

Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.

Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Up to 5% travel as needed may be required.
