Junior Application Developer75 Vanderbilt Ave, Staten Island, NY 10304, USA Req #11986 Friday, June 28, 2024Centers Plan for Healthy Living's goal is to create the ultimate healthcare experience that provides our members, their families, healthcare decision makers, and general caregivers with the guidance and plans they need for healthy living.JOB SUMMARY: Junior Application Developer is responsible for application support of specific components of Centers Plan for Healthy Living (CPHL) core systems (e.g., Medical Management, Claim, Data Warehouse, etc.). Under moderate supervision, performs application configuration tasks – such as in CaseTrakker, Salesforce or other CPHL systems. Enhances systems to meet business needs. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist with gathering business requirements necessary to implement systems solutions, such as, but not limited to the following.

CaseTrakker Letters

CaseTrakker Assessments

Salesforce Letters

Salesforce Assessments

System configuration

File Transfers

Non-complex query and report development

Assists more senior staff in application support and troubleshooting incoming issues. Determine root cause of the issue and as appropriate, participate in the development of the solution.

Track and trend issues for effective resolution and to identify underlying systemic causes.

Performs application development and other duties and special projects, as assigned by manager.

Education and Experience:

Education: BA/BS degree in Information Systems or equivalent technical experience

Required: High School graduate

Preferred:

Type of Experience

Required: Experience in data processing and implementing coding solutions based on user specification.

Preferred: Healthcare experience, preferably in a Medicaid/Medicare, MLTC environment

Specific Technical Skills

Required: Microsoft Word and Excel experience, with more advanced features such as merging data from a database.

Preferred: Use of SQL, Reporting tools, and telephonic and customer service skills.

Certifications/Licensure:

Required: n/a

Knowledge and Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Must be able to participate in meetings with all levels of management within the organization

Detail oriented, excellent follow up

Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Must be service oriented, quick learner, team player

Appreciation of cultural diversity
