Care Assistant

WE ARE HIRING! SEEKING CAREGIVERS WHO ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT WORKING WITH IDIVIDUALS WITH AUTISM!THESE ARE SECOND SHIFT OPPORTUNITIES MONDAY-FRIDAY WITH ROTATING WEEKNDS. Qualifications:

High School Diploma OR GED

Experience with caregiving- babysitting, working in a medical office, DSP work, Home health, CNA, Teacher's Assistant, daycare provider, paraprofessional, etc.

Must have reliable transportation & drivers license

Job Duties:

As a Care Assistant, you'll support the overall well-being of individuals with Autism in a residential facility

Help organize and manage activities

Assist the Residence Manager and Shift Supervisor with the implementation of systems within the house in which you work

Communicate and collaborate as needed with families/caregivers/teachers/therapists

Maintain appropriate student or classroom-related documentation, and help residents foster the development of skills, greater independence, and expanded self-confidence using customized interventions as identified in student support and behavior plans

Offering both Adult and Adolescents programs

Shifts:

2:00PM-10:00PM

3:00PM-11:00PM

Monday-Friday, every other weekend

Overtime always available

Pay:

18/hour w/ no experience and HS Diploma

.19 cents increases with years of "human service experience"

.25 cent increases for college credits starting at 30 credits and goes up .25 cents every 15 credits on top of that capping out at 120.

Dutchess County (Poughkeepsie, Hyde Park, Staatsburg, Rhinebeck, Clinton Corners, Salt Point, Stanfordville)

Ulster County (Highland, Plattekill, Ulster Park, Stone Ridge/Marbletown, Kingston, Saugerties)

PLEASE NOTE All candidates must do orientation 8am-5pm M-F in Staatsburg for their first week. Must be able to accommodate this travel.
