Equipment CoordinatorDate: May 3, 2024Location:Schenectady, NY, US, 12306Company: Price Chopper/Market 32Salary: $21.35- $32.03SUMMARYResponsible for ordering, coordinating and expediting the flow of equipment for capital projects. Duties include accurate equipment take-offs, processing purchase orders, receiving equipment, monitoring costs and schedule.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESProvide detailed equipment takeoffs for capital projects from EQ drawings. Review drawings and provide quantity survey of equipment. Identify errors in drawings and advise store planner for corrections.Creates purchase orders for all equipment and small wares to complete assigned projects.Coordinates the delivery and receipt of equipment for assigned projects with Construction Project Managers.Keep Construction Project Managers apprised of potential delays and expedite/minimize impact on construction project schedule.Reviews fixed asset list against proposed plan and tags existing equipment for reuse, refurbishment and/or disposal on assigned projects.Obtain confirmations on all new purchase orders in a timely fashion and file as obtained.Acts as a liaison between manufacturer and construction project manager for new equipment defects.Serves as a resource for internal stakeholdersEnsure accurate ordering, delivery and receipt of equipment and parts for a project.Coordinate equipment repair and/or part retrofits for project equipment reused from building 13, with Director of FacilitiesReview equipment database and ensure the data is accurate at all times. Alert Sourcing of any discrepancies or additions needed.Work with Engineering Project Coordinators on reports/reporting including but not limited to EQ status, budget status, etc.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Excellent problem solving and prioritization skills. Attention to detail Ability to read and comprehend architectural store plans Strong verbal and written communication Ability to manage work teams Ability to lead by exampleEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

2 year Associates Degree preferred

2 years’ experience in purchasing of capital equipment
