Job Details Responsibilities of the Transporter include: Transport patients and supplies as needed to and from the Radiology Department in a safe and effective manner. Assists the technologists with patient transfers to and from imaging tables. Properly handles IV pumps and poles, oxygen tanks and the patient chart during transport. Insures a safe, comfortable atmosphere for the patient during transport. Performs messenger service as needed. Requirements for the Transporter role include: High School Diploma, GED or relevant experience is required Prior healthcare experience preferred. Salary Range Starting from USD $23.79/Hr. The salary range or rate listed does not include any differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
