job detailsPosition Overview: We are seeking an experienced Shipping Clerk to join our warehouse team in Ronkonkoma for a temporary placement. The ideal candidate will be responsible for shipping, receiving, and managing inventory within a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work effectively with our quality team.Key Responsibilities:
Shipping & Receiving:
Receive incoming parts and equipment, verifying quantities and quality.
Prepare and process shipments using FedEx Worldwide and other carriers.
Ensure all shipping documentation is accurate and complete.
Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate inventory records through regular data entry and cycle counts.
Assist in organizing and storing inventory in designated areas.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the quality team to ensure all received items meet required standards.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding inventory levels and discrepancies.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a similar role in a warehouse environment.
knowledge of shipping processes, especially with FedEx Worldwide.
Proficient in data entry and inventory management systems.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to lift and move heavy items safely.
