Description We are seeking a File Clerk to join our non-profit organization located in ROCKVILLE CENTRE, New York. The role encompasses managing both physical and electronic files, ensuring they are accurately organized and easily accessible. The position involves maintaining the filing system and performing various administrative tasks to support the office. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: Handle both physical and electronic files, ensuring they are organized and easily accessible. Maintain and update the filing system regularly. Perform various administrative tasks to support the office. Utilize tools such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word to manage and organize files. Utilize 'About Time' for time tracking and management. Create charts and graphs to visually represent data when necessary. Draft and manage correspondence as needed. Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and issues promptly. Perform data entry tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Manage and organize paper files, ensuring they are updated and easily accessible. Requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook Experience in ADP - Financial Services Ability to handle correspondence with precision and professionalism Strong customer service skills, with the ability to address queries and complaints effectively Demonstrated data entry skills, with a focus on attention to detail and accuracy Familiarity with 'About Time' software Experience in managing paper files, ensuring they are organized and easily accessible Ability to create charts and graphs for data representation Previous experience in a non-profit environment is beneficial Experience in the role of a File Clerk is preferred Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently and as part of a team High level of discretion and judgment in handling confidential information.
