We are seeking a reliable and responsible individual to join our team as a daytime driver in the Rochester, NY area. Route starts in Henrietta, then pick up route is either the east or west side of Upstate NY with the final drop off in Warsaw, NY. Must be comfortable driving on the highway, towns and in the city.
This position is 50% driving and 50% customer service. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide mail delivery for client. Must have professional appearance for front face clients. Looking for someone to take pride in their job and is responsible. Must be comfortable with camera in company vehicles and wearing uniform attire daily.
Start date of September 3rd (no exceptions).
Responsibilities:
Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle to ensure safety and functionality.
Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
Maintain cleanliness and proper maintenance of assigned vehicle.
Communicate effectively and have exceptional customer service.
Requirements
Must be available during day time hours, Monday - Friday, approx. 30 hours per week.
Valid Class D driver's license with a clean driving record (no exceptions).
Must pass a series of checks including drug, driving, etc.
Previous experience in driving or transportation preferred.
Ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Must have a smart phone.
Excellent time management, organizational and customer service skills.
Must be comfortable in professional environments and adhere to professionalism at all times.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Compensation:
$500 - $700 per week, depending on route. Flat rate
