POSITION:
We’re looking for an experienced Residential Door Estimatorto join our team as a 1099 subcontractor. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys flexibility, working independently, and getting paid well for their expertise.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Travel to homes across Rochester and nearby areas
Measure openings and assess installation/replacement needs
Recommend the right door type, size, and materials
Provide accurate project estimates (materials + labor)
Work with sales/install teams as needed
Communicate with homeowners and answer questions
Document site visits and follow up when necessary
WHAT YOU NEED:
Experience with door estimating, installation, carpentry, or similar
Strong measuring and assessment skills
Knowledge of door types, hardware, and materials
Good communication and customer service skills
Self-starter with strong time management
Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation
Must be able to pass a criminal background check
