Romar Truck Repair and Mechanical Services is looking for a full time day shift (M-F) mechanic in our Henrietta, NY location. Romar offers excellent starting pay, medical, dental, vision, holiday pay, vacation, and a matching 401K program.
The medium/heavy duty mechanic will perform the following duties:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems on medium/heavy duty vehicles, cranes, booms, liftgates, trailers, and moffetts
- Perform PM services on medium/heavy duty vehicles, cranes, booms, liftgates, trailers, and moffetts
- Perform DOT annual inspections on medium/heavy duty vehicles and trailers
- Use computer diagnostic equipment
- Interface with the customers regarding the status of the repairs
- Exceed the expectations of the customer
- Pass a pre-employment drug test and physical
The candidate must have the following skills to be successful: safe efficient team player, ability to work independently and problem solve, ability to multitask, must have own tools, technical school graduate preferred or one year experience as a medium/heavy duty mechanic, must possess a valid driver's license (CDL preferred), and welding experience.
