We are in immediate need of skilled and experienced plumbers to complete the rough-in and finish phases of commercial and residential construction projects. General knowledge of related skills such as basic electrical and carpentry is A MUST. Experience with installing sprinkler systems and gas lines is a plus.
Successful candidate(s) may serve as lead or perform broad and/or focused assignments under General Contractor supervision.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Complete underground rough-in
Complete rough-in above ground
Establish supply/waste connection locations
Ensure proper drainage and venting
Install plumbing fixtures including faucets, sinks, water heaters, dishwashers and other plumbing appliances, etc.
Perform basic construction, maintenance, and repair work
Operate power and hand tools
Set up and breakdown of work areas
Follow established safety rules and regulations
Maintain a clean work area and accurate supplies inventory
Requirements and Qualifications:
Proven experience working on construction projects
Experience working with Pex tubing
Proficient in using various hand and power tools
Knowledge of construction and maintenance methods, materials, techniques and safety protocols
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks for extended periods of time, including lifting and carrying items up to 75 lbs, bending, stooping, climbing ladders
Ability to work in all weather
Must be able to respond to emergencies in a timely manner
