ACTION'S Mission: Create an experience for which a customer returns to do business with us again. Hiring for more than one position.
Position Summary:
As an automotive technician you will perform vehicle repair and maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer standards.
Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, steering, transmission, suspension, brakes, air- conditioning and electrical.
Perform vehicle inspection to identify necessary repairs.
Provide labor and time estimates for all repair work.
Inspect and test vehicles to determine necessary and applicable repair work.
Complete paperwork and documentation for service repairs.
Provide and maintain a basic inventory of required hand tools.
Qualifications: NOT REQUIRED FOR ALL POSITIONS
ASE Certified or the ability to obtain the proper documents
Must have the ability to properly use shop equipment such as brake lathes, alignment, wheel balancer, ect.
Must have own set of tools
Valid driver’s license and transportation
Must have a valid NYS Inspectors License
Must be a team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service
Excellent communication skills
