Vella Bath & Kitchen, Inc., operating in the Rochester area since 1965, is looking to grow

our team with the addition of an Assistant Project Manager / Construction Admin.

At Vella, our full-service remodeling projects include tear-outs, structural modifications, framing,

plumbing, drywall, plastering and skim coating, cabinetry, finish carpentry, tile, flooring, windows

and doors, light electrical, painting.

Responsibilities of this role include, but not limited to -

Assistant Project Management:

 Project Coordination: Collaborate with Operations Manager to coordinate and manage

project activities from sale to completion.

 Team Collaboration: Work closely with project team, subcontractors, and suppliers to

ensure seamless execution on all phases of project.

 Regular Jobsite Visits: Ensure daily job the foreman has all supplies needed for

upcoming days. Coordinate, order, and ensure delivery of necessary supplies to jobsite.

 Schedule Management: Assist in supporting the development and maintenance of all

project schedules assigned ensuring timely completion of project goals set.

 Quality Assurance: Ensure all projects meet the quality standards and requirements

set forth.

 Client Communication: Maintain positive relationship with clients addressing concerns

and providing regular project updates, and scheduling return visits as needed.

 Safety: Promote and enforce all safety protocols maintaining a secure working

environment.

Construction Administration:

 Responsible for the daily administrative duties from Office Manager consisting of but not

limited to, assisting with phones, schedule client appointments, acquiring permits,

preparing and editing project documents as needed.

 Support Office Manager with coordination of office needs and staff equipment needs.

Maintain project databases, records, and filing systems, create and edit documents,

inspections, and reports as needed.

Qualifications and Skills Needed for Success:

 Associate degree in relevant industry preferred or 5 years of performing in this role

 At least 2-years’ experience in the role

 Experienced on-the-spot problem solving

 Motivated and reliable

 Good communication skills

 Ability to work in a team environment

 Valid driver’s license

Hours:

 Monday - Thurs: 7:30am - 4:30 pm

 Friday: 7:30am - 2:00 pm
