Currently interviewing support staff candidates for very high functioning young man with disabilities for in home and community work. Penfield home location.
NO medical assistance needed. Approximately 20-25 hours/week that may lead up to more hours. Daytime hours will vary Monday- Friday between 10-4 with occasional Saturdays and early evenings possible. Must have NYS driver's license to transport individual to community activities in family's accessible van.
Duties will include providing assistance with and support for daily living skills and specific self-directed goals such as meal planning, shopping and preparation and exploring hobbies and interests.
This job is through OPWDD (Office for People With Developmental Disabilities) Self-Direction Plan and pay is through Catholic Charities agency. Selected candidates will be given a link to complete an online application from the agency. Required and provided by the agency: fingerprinting, background check and paid orientation for on-boarding. Some benefits included depending on number of hours.
