GAF Roofing Academy, in partnership with United Union of Roofers, Waterproofers, and Allied Workers of Local 22, are hosting an absolutely FREE 2 day Roofing Academy in Rochester, NY. This training will provide an introduction to commercial and residential roofing installation. The graduates of the program will receive a GAF Roofing Academy certificate, apply and interview with Local 22 for immediate hire into the roofing industry, as well as have the opportunity to earn their OSHA10 certification for free, outside of training hours, per student request. Program Details:
- Graduates will receive a certificate of completion as a GAF Roofing Academy Graduate and acquire the
necessary skills to enter into the roofing industry.
- Upon completion, graduates will have the opportunity to interview with Local 22 for full-time employment with the union.
- Transportation to and from the training facility is the responsibility of the attendee.
- Light breakfast and lunch are provided each day.
