POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible to the set up and operation of CNC lathe machines. Senior position with responsibility of loading programs and troubleshooting for accurate production of quality products.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND REPONSIBILITIES:
1. Set up and operate CNC lathe machines to perform precision machining operations
2. Select and install tooling, fixtures and attachments for efficient and accurate machining
3. Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and adherence to specifications
4. Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
5. Inspect finished products for accuracy and conformance to specifications
6. Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the machining process.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
1. 5 years of experience operating CNC lathe machines in a manufacturing or production environment
2. Strong knowledge of basic math and measurement tools
3. Understanding of tooling concepts and selection
4. Knowledge of quality control processes in a machining environment
