We are headquartered in Pittsfield, MA and have additional locations in Boston, MA and Albany, NY. Our customer base includes public and private schools, colleges, hospitals, nursing homes, country clubs, restaurants, bars and correctional facilities.
Role Description
This is a Monday - Friday daytime role for a Restaurant Equipment Delivery position at B&G Restaurant Supply. The role involves day-to-day tasks such as general warehouse work, uncrating, prepping and delivering restaurant equipment/smallwares to various commercial and noncommercial accounts in Western, Central and Southern New York State, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries, and providing excellent customer service. Qualifications
-Customer Service and Teamwork skills
-Strong problem solving skills
-Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
-Ability to lift and move heavy restaurant equipment with use of appropriate equipment i.e. pallet jack, equipment lift, forklift, etc.
-Valid driver's license and clean driving record
-Ability to drive a delivery van and 18 foot box truck
-CDL not required but is a plus
-Experience in delivery and logistics is a plus
-High school diploma or equivalent
