Well known take out only restaurant has opening for Receptionist/Food Runner. This position holds primary responsibility for answering phone calls from customers placing a take-out order ; entering the order into the Point of Sale system; monitoring on line-orders; packaging completed orders, and delivering completed order to customers waiting in cars in restaurant parking lot. 25-30hrs weekly . Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities – Successful candidate must possess good speaking and listening skills and the ability to deal with customers in a friendly, helpful, and informative manner. Technical capacity to quickly learn and operate within requirements of POS system. Competent organizational skills to properly slot orders into specified time periods for food production by line cooks and delivery of completed product to customers. Ability to work in a often high pressure environment.
