Description We are seeking a VP/Director of Finance to join our team in Brighton, New York. In this role, you will be expected to supervise financial management, participate in strategic planning, conduct financial analysis, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. Responsibilities: Supervision of Controller and Finance Manager, providing guidance and support as necessary. Serving as a policy advisor to the Chief Financial Officer, offering insights on financial management. Assisting in strategic and long-range planning, evaluating business improvement opportunities for financial feasibility. Conducting financial analysis, cash flow projections, and present value models to justify proposed operating alternatives. Leading the development of the annual budget process, collaborating with all departments to produce accurate and realistic financial projections. Liaising with URMC in the financial closing process and ensuring smooth operations. Facilitating the preparation of annual financial audits, tax returns, cost reports, and other government required filings. Implementing and overseeing proper purchasing and accounts payable procedures for all financial transactions. Ensuring the internal control environment is sound, and all accounting policies and procedures are adhered to and monitored. Maintaining banking relationships to ensure maximum service at reasonable rates. Coordinating with Board of Directors Finance and Investment Committees to maximize return on cash investments. Overseeing the monthly closing process including the production of financial statements, variance analysis, bank recs, payroll reports.
