Description A Tax Preparer is responsible for assisting individuals and businesses in preparing and filing accurate tax returns while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations. The Tax Preparer stays updated on tax laws and regulations to provide accurate and efficient service. Prepare and file tax returns for individuals, businesses, and organizations.
Collect and review financial documents, including income statements, receipts, and deductions.
Identify tax-saving opportunities and advise clients on potential credits and deductions.
Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations.
Answer client questions and address concerns related to taxes and filings.
Maintain confidentiality of client financial information.
Stay updated on changes in tax laws and communicate their impact to clients.
