Storage Systems Administrator Job in Rochester, NY or Orange Connecticut:

2 days remote a week & 3 days onsite in either Rochester NY or Orange Connecticut

MODIS is currently seeking a Storage Admin for a long term contract role. The ideal candidates will have experience with a at least one of the following NetApp, EMC as well and IBM technologies. This Storage Administrator should also have a background in Windows and Linux server administration.

Storage: NetApp FAS series -8000 Series, AFF series,7-mode, Cluster mode EMC Storage -VMAX, VNX, Vplex, Clariion CX4, UNITY450F, UNITY350F, Powermax, Recoverpoint, Datadomain DD9900 Isilon, Centera and Vblock. IBM Storage N5000, N7000 and DS8000 series, XIV, FS9200, FS7200, FS7300, V5030E, IBM SAN Volume controller Protocols- NFS, SMB/CIFS/FC/ISCSI Fabric Switches and Directors - Brocade and Cisco

Backup technologies - TSM, Commvault, NetBackup

Tools:

NetApp Storage Software - Oncommand System Manager, Config Advisor, OCUM, Oncommand Insight, IMT, SPM, Perfstat, ACTIVE IQ, Filer View, DFM, Command Line interface, Snap protect, Snap Manager/Drive, snap mirror/vault, clones

EMC Storage software - Unisphere, Control Center, PowerPath, SYMCLI, Navisphere MGT, Timefinder, SRDF, Replication Mgr.

IBM Storage Software - DS Storage Manager Client, Storage virtual client, IBM Copy service manager, Software - Fabric Manager, Device Manager, Connectrix Manager, CMCNE.

Other Technologies : Server Management - Windows and Unix, Virtualization - Hyper-V,Redhat and Vmware, ITIL Ticketing, Cloud- Microsoft Azure Blob storage, storage accounts, Azure backups ,Tools - BMC Remedy and Service Now.
