GENERAL PURPOSE:This position develops and administers the organization’s leadership education, training, and development programs that foster the organizational expertise needed for leaders to maximize employee engagement as well as operational effectiveness and efficiency. Develops and recommends competency-based educational content, innovative delivery modalities to Assistant Director to enhance the leadership development experience, provides customer service to business leaders and supports an integrated competency model in alignment with organizational strategy. Develops a pro-active leadership development program which includes building a best-in-class experience for frontline supervisors, managers, and advanced leaders.JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manages the analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation of programs related to Leadership Development and aligning these resources with the leadership competency model, leadership performance metrics, UR/URMC overall strategic plan and CPM job elements.

Utilizes expert facilitation skills and knowledge of adult learning/organizational development principles and practices in the creation of programs, projects, and initiatives to ensure an effective and meaningful outcome for individual, group, on-line, and in-person training.

Assists with support of all requests, consultations and activities related to leadership development. Focusing on developing and enhancing critical leadership skills, develops and implements leadership development programs and offerings, policies, and procedures designed to enhance the leadership experience for participants. Develops supportive tools and resources for aspiring leaders, emerging leaders, and current leaders.

Provides supervision and oversight for Leadership Development OD Specialist, aligning efforts to meet strategic educational priorities for the organization.

Collaborates closely with Senior and Associate Directors of Learning & Development, HR Business Partners, Program Administrators, Managers and Supervisors to plan and execute appropriate leadership development strategies and action plans to provide and meet strategic workforce needs.

Collaborates with Simon & Warner Schools to leverage internal resources and create stackable credentials, certifications, etc. to enhance professional development opportunities across the organization.

Other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree in talent management, HRD or related field required.

Master’s preferred.

3 years leadership development and program management, including 3 years supervisory experience required.

or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Successful track record in designing and executing successful training programs. Advanced facilitation skills (in-person, virtual). Knowledge of Leadership Development solutions, research, and trends.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint); strong organizational and project management skills; strong written and verbal communication skills; LMS experience desirable

DiSC and Crucial Conversations desirable.
