No holidays, evenings or weekends.ATTRIBUTESTwo (2) year college degree in Radiologic Technologist in Applied Science or equivalent.NYS license in Radiologic TechnologyAmerican Registry of Radiologic Technologist Certification (ARRT-R)Prior Radiologic Technologist experience (preferred)ARRT-M Advanced Mammography Certification (preferred)RESPONSIBILITIESMammography. Perform and/or assists diagnostic, screening, ultrasound and interventional mammography procedures; perform daily and periodic Mammography Quality Assurance (QA) activities under the direct supervision of the mammography QA Technologist; monitor image quality on a continuous basis to ensure that all quality standards are metGeneral Maintenance. Monitor equipment for proper performance and functionality; clean, restock and prepare examination rooms on a daily basisDocumentation. Complete all necessary documentation in the radiological information system (RIS) and/or patient chartsEDUCATION: AAS: Radiologic TechnologyPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: RT(R) - Registered Radiologic Technologist - New York State Education Department (NYSED)M - Mammography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)PAY RANGE: $29.00 - $41.00The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants.
