Description Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist with ADP payroll expertise for one of our clients in the Rochester, NY. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing payroll accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, and providing excellent customer service to our employees. Responsibilities: Process bi-weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly payroll using ADP payroll software. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of payroll processing, including verifying hours worked, processing wage garnishments, and calculating overtime, commissions, and bonuses. Maintain employee payroll records and ensure data integrity. Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll-related issues, including pay discrepancies, deductions, and tax withholdings. Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure accurate employee data and compliance with company policies and procedures. Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll regulations and compliance requirements. Generate payroll reports as needed for management and accounting purposes. Assist with year-end payroll processes, including W-2 preparation and distribution. Provide support during payroll audits and ensure compliance with internal controls. Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives within the payroll department. If interested, apply today! Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred. 2+ years of experience in payroll processing, with proficiency in ADP payroll software. Strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications. Certified Payroll detail oriented (CPP) designation is a plus.
