Description We are in the search for a Patient Financial Services Representative to be a part of our team in the healthcare industry. The position is located in Rochester, New York, and offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. As a Patient Financial Services Representative, you will be expected to manage customer applications, maintain customer records, and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and efficient manner.Responsibilities: Accurately processing patient credit applications related to healthcare services. Maintaining meticulous records of patient credit information. Resolving patient inquiries regarding financial services and billing. Monitoring patient accounts and initiating appropriate action when necessary. Utilizing Allscripts and Cerner Technologies to manage and track patient data. Effectively using CRM and Crystal Reports to analyze customer data and generate reports. Operating Dentrix Dental Software for streamlined dental practice management. Handling and responding to inbound calls from patients regarding financial matters. Processing authorizations and performing benefit functions as required. Carrying out billing functions and managing charts and graphs for financial data visualization. Requirements Experience in answering inbound calls and providing excellent customer service Knowledge and understanding of authorizations, benefit functions, and billing functions Ability to create and interpret charts and graphs Prior experience in a healthcare, hospital, or social assistance environment Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently Detail-oriented and able to work accurately in a fast-paced environment Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to handle high-pressure situations Understanding and adherence to privacy laws and regulations related to patient information.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
