Adecco is seeking an Order Entry Specialist . This position involves managing a high volume of complex orders, so attention to detail, multitasking, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential. We are looking for individuals who can focus on accuracy while handling multiple tasks and interacting with different personalities across the organization.Key Responsibilities:
Receive orders in various formats and accurately input them into the company system.
Validate order details and send confirmations to customers.
Notify appropriate parties (such as accounting, shipping, etc.) about order statuses.
Determine and communicate expected completion and shipment dates to customers.
Ensure all updates are recorded in the company system.
Perform other related tasks as assigned by the manager.
Skills Needed:
Experience with ERP systems (Epicor is a plus!).
Strong ability to organize and prioritize a high volume of work while meeting deadlines.
Excellent follow-up skills.
Strong attention to detail and focus.
Ability to maintain effective working relationships with various departments (accounting, shipping, distributors, customers).
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.), and quick to learn new systems.
Strong math skills and comfort working with numbers.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in order entry is required.
