Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.Responsibilities:The LLE Electronics and Controls Engineering group is seeking a team supervisor in the operations and supply chain section.Team primary focus areas include:Responsible for the internal and external fabrication of hard including:Work closely with design office to ensure proper documentationInterface with external contractors and vendorsKitting of parts for external fabricationTesting of finished assembliesProcurement of partsInstallation and integration of equipment into the facilitiesTeam Manager responsibilities include:
Development of suppliers and vendor relationships
Tracking performance and overall progress of assigned work
Assisting section manager with resource loading
Identifying and communicating capital equipment needs
Hiring committee representation
Assisting group leader and section manager with project-level work assignments
Assigning and scheduling service level work
Ensuring the time-reporting records are current and accurate
Scheduling hours and providing vacation request recommendations
Maintaining a technical work portfolio in their area(s) of expertise align with the team responsibilities
