Conduct a thorough assessment of each patient's medical status upon admission and throughout the patient's course of treatment; provide regular patient status updatesTreatment Administration. Assist in the implementation of the patient's treatment plan under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN); initiate and discontinue dialysis treatments using multiple access sites; administer IVP medications to dialysis patientsDocumentation. Complete required documentation in an accurate and timely mannerNurse, in accordance with established plans.Key Responsibilities: The LPN working in Hemodialysis responsibilities include application/mastery of skills in area of specialization, guidance and general oversight to less experienced employees; may train new employees. The duties and tasks reflect substantial variety and complexity. Serves as a resource to others in the resolution of complex issues, patient cases or technical skills.Conducts and documents a thorough assessment of each patient's medical status upon admission and throughout the patient's course of treatment.Assists in the implementation of the patient's treatment plan under the direction of the RN.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.PAY RANGE: $26.50 - $32.50The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future.
