Lead, Finance Job Code: 18215 Location: Rochester, NY Job Description: L3Harris is seeking a temporary Lead, Finance to support our Tactical Communications business unit to support the Trade Finance team through April 2025. This role will be located in Rochester, NY. Essential Functions:

Review contracts for appropriate language around payment and acceptance terms

Support Review of export letters of credit (LCs)

Support negotiation and issuances of Standby LCs and Performance Guarantees (PGs)/Bonds

Manage banking relationships and interactions with Trade Technologies

Potential for foreign travel to support contract negotiations

Drive oversight and actions for closure of outstanding PGs

Basic Qualifications:

Requires comprehensive level knowledge of job area. May have in-depth knowledge of project management. Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

The position requires excellent financial analytical skills, coupled with contracts and international trade finance experience to develop/model alternate cost and return scenarios - in order to - assess the right price, along with the right commercial terms to mitigate business risk and optimize cash flow.

Must have solid knowledge of general accounting principles and practices along with specific Federal contract accounting experience, GSA pricing/audits, cost accounting standards and FAR/DFARs knowledge.

Excellent leadership and communication skills (both verbal and written).

Ability to multitask and work efficiently under the pressure of stringent timelines and proposal deadlines.
