Job Title: Heavy Equipment OperatorJob DescriptionThe equipment operator will be responsible for digging, shoveling, and moving material around the jobsite.They will be lifting 50 lbs repeatedly and will be using an excavator and dozer.Performing trench work and aiding in laborer tasks when needed.Hard Skills

Job TypeThis is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in ROCHESTER, New York.Work EnvironmentSITE SAFETY CONDITIONS: Extremely OSHA compliant. Safety is the #1 priority, and candidates must follow guidelines at all times.Nature of the work: This is very physical work, and candidates will be on their feet all day moving material around often with shovels or other tools. They will be digging, building, and performing other tasks. They will often be in trenches helping to set and build forms as well.Hours: 6:30 AM start time at the shop daily, working 10 hours a day. Reporting to the jobsite on a daily basis.Team size: 15 total workers in the field in the site division.Clothing: DIRTY WORK! Must be comfortable getting dirty and muddy. Work shirts and pants along with steel-toe boots required at all times. Winter gear provided when cold.
