If this description speaks to you, continue reading about the opportunity for Groundskeeper. T his is a full time, 40 hours per week position at St. John's Meadows. Position Summary: The Groundskeeper p erforms landscaping, garden care and enhancements, grounds equipment maintenance and snow and ice removal to walkways, entrances and other areas when needed, lawn care and maintenance. Responsibilities include:
Care and upkeep of the lawns and landscaping.
Care and upkeep of the roads, parking areas and sidewalks including snow removal and ice control.
Empty outdoor trash containers and keep trash and other debris picked up around the grounds.
Maintain all tools, equipment and vehicles in proper condition.
Regular scheduled fleet maintenance on all vehicles.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent certification of completion.
Must have at least 1 - 3 years of experience in facility ground maintenance and landscaping.
Must have experience in operating lawn and landscape tools and equipment.
Must have experience in operating snow removal equipment.
Maintain a valid New York State Driver’s License.
