BREW HOUSE HOURS OF OPERATION: Availability Needed: All Preferred Availability: Daytime & Sundays As a Host/Hostess, you will be responsible for providing a warm and friendly immediate greeting to our guests at the door. You will be responsible for knowing all areas of service in the Brew House and able to direct guests to where they want to go. You will take names on a waiting list and give quotes when tables are not immediately available, run the floor, observe and keep track of the status of tables, and answer the phone. You will help to maintain and organize the host area, retail store, foyer, front entrance, and restrooms throughout your shift. Being passionate about beer, especially ours, is a plus! SHIFTS: daytime & evening/weekend availability on Saturday nights is a must ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Demonstrates genuine hospitality and sets the stage for an exceptional dining experience by making every single guest feel welcome

Engages in friendly conversation and directs guests as they enter the Brew House

Coordinates the guests experience and relays any important information to management and servers/bartenders

Answers the phone and attend to guest queries and reservations

Manage wait list and reservations in a high volume, fast paced restaurant

Performs any cleaning tasks as required

Performs additional assignments or miscellaneous administrative duties as assigned by managers

Actively exhibit a commitment to support a diverse and inclusive work environment

Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent

Prior customer service experience

Ability to operate Table Management Software and Point of Sale systems

Ability to lift and manage up to 20 lbs. (during various times throughout shift) and stand for long periods of time.

SKILLS

Excellent communication skills (verbally interacts with management, servers, team members, and guests)

Must be able to read, write and determine wait time based on company's procedure

Must have excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask

Must have knowledge of workplace safety procedure
