Growing private school seeking Title I Intervention Specialist/Teacher. We are looking to hire a qualified, certified teacher to provide direct, small group instruction to academically at-risk students in grades K – 4. Applicants should be excited about supporting students’ academic achievement, and providing individualized learning to students with a range of academic needs and learning styles.
Job Responsibilities: The Title I Intervention teacher will…
Provide reading and/or math instruction in small groups sessions for at-risk students.
Support the student assessment process and analyze data.
Provide individualized and small group instruction based on identified academic weaknesses.
Communicate regularly with classroom teachers at the school.
Responsibly complete administrative duties including keeping timesheets, tracking sessions, submitting lesson plans, etc.
Have paid prep. time so all work can be completed during work hours.
Participate in school professional development that is provided on topics including pedagogy, classroom management, differentiation, social-emotional learning, and other education related themes.
