Many of the innovative programs and vital services that we offer are not available elsewhere.We are looking for a SCHOOL BEHAVIOR INTERVENTION SPECIALIST to work at our Prospect School in Queensbury N.Y.The successful candidate must be a dynamic clinician with a strong clinical background and ability to work well with teams. The primary role of the School Behavior Intervention Specialist is to provide consultation and behavioral support to students and classroom teams. This position will follow School calendar with mandatory 6 week summer programResponsibilities:
Responsible for completing going functional analysis and as necessary the development of behavior intervention plans.
Model the implementation of behavior intervention plans, support the implementation of the plans, and train staff as needed.
Become SCIP-R trained, as well as become a SCIP-R trainer
Position involves facilitating staff and family training and special projects as needed.
Rate of pay is $67,002-$73,476 commensurate with experience.
Requirements:
Graduate degree (Masters, Doctorate) in field of Psychology required
Strong clinical background and experience working with people with intellectual disabilities and autism spectrum disorder
