ICS includes $700 billion of Institutional Assets. Goal is to continue strategic acquisitions in this space and help support organic growth. The priority of the business is to implement strategic initiatives within MSWM to increase market share within the institutional consulting market while also contributing to the firm’s asset growth and participant engagement goals. The RIA Strategy & Client Development team works closely with senior management across ICS and Wealth Management to grow assets, deepen client relationships and penetrate participants.We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Client Development & Education Ambassador VP. In this role, you will work closely with plan sponsors, consultants, financial advisors and recordkeeper to develop and implement strategies that enhance participant engagement and education within retirement plans. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of retirement plan design, investment strategies, and financial planning concepts, as well as excellent communication, presentation and analytical skills. The ideal candidate will support delivering participant education and engagement to institutional clients representing 2 million participants and may also conduct educational sessions that cover retirement topics. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES· Collaborate with plan sponsors, financial advisors, consultants and recordkeepers to identify plan sponsor education needs and tailor education programs accordingly· Deliver educational materials, workshops and webinars on retirement planning topics, such as preparing for retirement, budgeting, investment allocation and risk management· Conduct plan sponsor education sessions and draft participant communications· Collaborate with plan sponsors, financial advisors, consultants and recordkeepers on educational materials to ensure educational content are accurate, up-to-date and align with plan offering· Coordinate educational sessions and one-on-one sessions for plan participants in partnership with plan sponsors and financial advisors· Pitch education offering to plan sponsors· Collaborate with plan sponsors, financial advisors, consultants and others to develop and execute on delivering participant education· Work with consultants to strategize on client / prospect approach· Develop and maintain relationships with plan sponsors, ensuring their needs and objectives are met; work with plan sponsors on annual educational calendar / requirements· Provide reporting / results to plan sponsors on educational events / participant consultation· Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment of participant engagement and education initiatives with overall organization · Undergraduate degree required· Minimum 5 years of experience in retirement planning, financial education, or a related role· Strong understanding of retirement planning concepts, investment strategies, and financial planning principles· Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills· Ability to collaborate effectively with plan sponsors, financial advisors, consultants and recordkeepers· Knowledge of industry regulations, trends and best practices· Self-starter who will take initiative, learn quickly, and work independently· Team-oriented, with high level of administrative and interpersonal professionalism· Series 7 and 63 licenses preferredMorgan Stanley's goal is to build and maintain a workforce that is diverse in experience and background but uniform in reflecting our standards of integrity and excellence. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programsColorado salary range for the position: $110,000 to $185,000 per year. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award.
