Job DescriptionThe Medical Admin efficiently handles a high volume of incoming calls and requests, both clinical and non-clinical, ensuring superior customer service and a one-call resolution standard. This role includes scheduling a variety of appointments for over 100 multi-specialty physicians and other medical professionals. The scheduler will utilize all available resources to effectively assist all callers, transfer calls when appropriate, gather pertinent information for requests, relay messages to clinical staff, and handle emergencies as per specified procedures.Must be local to Poughkeepsie, NY as the first 6 months require in-person scheduleHard Skills

Customer Service experience in Call Center or healthcare

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Experience with medical software

Experience in healthcare, call center, medical records, or customer service

Soft Skills

Superior customer service skills

Ability to handle high call volumes

Effective communication and information gathering

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
